On the border between Tuscany and Umbria
We are one kilometre from the old town of Chiusi and a short drive from some of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Here is what surrounds you.
An ideal location
The nearest cities are Arezzo, Siena and Perugia. Renowned destinations such as Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni and Montalcino are only a few kilometres away. Orvieto and Cortona, two more splendid towns, are about half an hour from the B&B.

One kilometre away
Known for its rich Etruscan and Roman history, with numerous archaeological finds and Etruscan tombs. Chiusi is also famous for its National Etruscan Archaeological Museum, the Labyrinth of Porsenna and the Underground City, as well as for its lake and its delicious Tuscan cooking.
The National Archaeological Museum, founded in 1870, holds a wide collection of Etruscan finds and Roman and Greek ceramics from the surrounding area. Among these is the Etruscan necropolis of Poggio Renzo, where you can visit the Tomb of the Lion, the Tomb of the Monkey and the Tomb of the Pilgrim.
The Cathedral, with three naves, rests on Roman columns. From the Cathedral Museum you can enter the striking Labyrinth of Porsenna, a dense network of tunnels running for hundreds of metres beneath the town: most probably part of the water supply system built by the Etruscans in archaic times.

A few kilometres from Chiusi lie the lakes of Chiusi and Montepulciano, an area of remarkable natural value and a lovely destination for a day out.
